I've lost my blogging mojo lately. It seems like I don't have exciting and new experiences to share. I didn't go anywhere new, I don't go out as often, I'm so busy with work and other work-related stuff, and I've made no new realizations -- nothing that would interest other people.

Hmmm.

Hmmm. On second thought, I met up with my highschool barkada this summer. Ever since high school ended, I've been rambling about how hard it is for all of us to meet up. Luz attended a school in Bicol. Steph eventually went abroad. After college, Tere went home to Cebu to pursue Law. Nikki, being a geologist, has been going to different parts of the country for 6 weeks at a time.
What happened was a small miracle. We were all in Manila for a weekend.
During that nostalgic weekend, I remembered how it was to be with my high school barkada. In the span of 7 years, we have all changed. But at the same time, it's amazing when you look at a person and realize that you've been friends with her for so long -- that you've been through those silly crush days, the first boyfriend, and the numerous tampuhans. That even with time and distance, you still feel so close to her. We are all lucky to have one friend like this in our lives. I have four. :)

Hmmm. I was just thinking about Ate Mitzi getting married next weekend. As much as I'm happy for her and Kuya Mark, I feel a bit sad. It's always been hard for me to accept that people grow up and move on and settle down. Add to that the fact that they're moving to the States. :( I'll really miss them. And I'm sad that my family can't stick together forever. :(
All that from the maid-of-honor. Good luck with my speech, then.

I think I just got my blogging mojo back. So much has been happening in my life, but I guess I just failed to see them as extraordinary. Life is continually changing and is never quite the same with all its colors, experiences, and lights.
Just like a little disco.
