I was stuck in traffic last Friday morning when MY song started playing on the radio. I am, of course, referring to

And again, of course I start singing and dancing. Yes, in the car. Because hey, it’s a Friday morning! And hey, it is MY song!

Well, the dancing stopped when I noticed the people in the jeepney adjacent to my car were looking at me. So all I could do was bob my head and enjoy in containment.


Misheard Lyrics

Usually you’d hear about bobo misheard lyrics like…

You’d wonder if there are actually non-bobo misheard lyrics. Ones that actually make sense and turn out to be… just great. Like this...

Boom Boom Boom

I had an exam last Friday. And guess what song kept playing in my head while swamped with LP, IP, and PERT? Boom boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas (I seem to have grown an intense liking to them lately).

So how did the exam go? In my head?

Life has been crazy busy lately. With work and school, I rarely come home before 10 (much to Mama's disappointment). I have so little time in my hands. Weeks fly by so quickly. Days are always gone in a blur and I don't even notice that I didn't set aside time to talk to Him.

I know that if I continue going on like this, I will eventually feel empty. This is why I'm thankful for songs like this. Its lyrics and melody fit the bill perfectly -- a prayer in tune that makes everything a little bit better. :)
