everyone's blogging

Everyone's blogging so I decided to give it a try. It's just so me to let everybody know what I've been up to. Blogging can save me from repeating stories over and over. Haha. What a lame excuse... I'm just bored and sleepy. And what does someone do if she's bored and she's in a computer lab with unlimited Internet?!? She starts blogging!

I really wanted to give blogging a try, so that I could flex my writing skills. It's been a while since I last wrote. I've been thinking that my newspaper writing and yearbook editing ended in highschool. I'm not even a part of our Department's paper, Parser or our yearbook, Inhinyero. Loser me...  I've really been busy with my acads when I started with college, I tended to neglect writing. No journaling. No blogging. Just a few Peyups articles here and there. I've always said that it's okay because I know I could always return to writing. This is one of the things I've always believed in - that I'll always, always be a writer. That no amount of source codes, languages, and machine problems could change me. I will always be a writer.

"I wanted to be a writer so I made myself a writer," Carrie said in one of Sex and the City's episodes. I guess like everything else, writing needs work. I won't be recognized as a writer if I sit in my office and encode programs all day long. Writing needs work. I have to make myself a writer to be one. And I choose to be a writer, because as one of my favorite songs say:

So impossible as it may seem
You've got to fight for every dream
Coz who's to know
Which one you let go
Would have made you complete...
